Welcome to Market Insights.

Are you giving silly excuses for not investing? That is the question Rajiv Raj of CreditVidya asks our readers in this edition. But before that, Sanjay Chhabria brings to us an elaborate analysis on Geometric, Justocks.com find a few PSU banks extremely positive, SMC recommend Tube Investments of India and Indian Hume Pipe Company for the respective upsides they hold, and Prabhudas Lilladher analyse Q1FY16 results of IndusInd Bank and revise upwards their target price on the bank. As usual, we also have a technical query answered by our experts in the 'Ask an Expert' section.

Geometric: An attractive mid-cap IT stock

According to Sanjay Chhabria, Geometric is well placed to win a significant 3-year opportunity with a large aerospace major against well-established competition. With the transformations that are taking place within the company, the objective target is scalable growth in FY 2016.

These PSU banks seem extremely positive
According to Justocks.com, it was a long time since when PSU banks were underperforming the market and continuing its typical downward movement. These banks have already erased their value by more than 50% from their peak, now most of them are facing their demand zones.

Fundamental picks: These stocks have an upside of 22% and 19% respectively
According to SMC, with strong management and excellent future prospects in most of the segments it operates in, Tube Investments of India is expected to benefit from a turnaround in the auto sector's fortunes. Indian Hume Pipe Company is one of the few pipe companies to have a recognized R&D division which is responsible for implementing a strict and uniform quality control process on all its manufacturing units.

Prabhudas Lilladher revise target price on IndusInd Bank after Q1FY16 results
According to Prabhudas Lilladher, IndusInd Bank reported a steady quarter with Q1FY16 PAT growing by 25% y/y. While other income continued to remain buoyant, NII improved 18.4% y/y to INR9.81b. Prabhudas Lilladher have thereby maintained 'Accumulate' on the bank but revised upwards their target price from the previous of Rs980.

Are these silly excuses stopping you from getting rich?
Let's face it! Investing is not easy and once you begin, you have to dedicate enough time and effort to it. But as much as that it true, investing according to your risk profile over the long term is only way to create wealth, says Rajiv Raj.
