Companies have released their March quarter Share holding pattern, which is very important report to make investment decisions as it also gives the status of the all important Institutional holdings. Dynamic Levels has identified 24 Multibaggers, in which institution have increased its holding from 2016 December quarter to 2017 March Quarter. These stocks are mentioned in the PDF attached herewith.

Importance of Institutional Holdings

Institutional Holdings in listed companies play a very important role in identifying good stocks. The more the number of Institutions in a company, the more are the chances of the company performing well. Greater number of Institution Holding in a company should give the Investor more confidence about the fundamentals of that company. This data is released by companies every quarter as it is mandatory by SEBI. The share holding pattern provides detailed investments of different categories of investors.

The Shareholding pattern includes

  • No of shareholders in each category
  • No of Shares held by each category
  • Number of shares pledge if any by promoters
  • Percentage of holding by each category

Earlier companies used to provide only no. of share held, no. of shares pledged by promoters & percentage of holding by each category. This report did not include the no. of shareholders having investment in that company. But from December 2015 new shareholding pattern was defined by SEBI, wherein, each company is also needed to report the no. of shareholders.

Dynamic levels has been continuously sharing this knowledge through its Webinar and Research reports to its users and clients, so that they understand the importance of studying this data to identify Performing Multibaggers.
